What is Koi Koi?

Meet people from around the world, one splash at a time! No names until you add each other as friends!

How does it work?

Hit Start Chat and you're matched with someone else looking to chat. You each get a random placeholder name, never your real one. You have 5 minutes to talk; either of you can swim off anytime, and the chat ends automatically when the timer runs out.

Is it really anonymous?

Yes. Your real username is never shown to the other person unless you BOTH send a friend request and it's accepted on both sides. Until then, there's no way for them to look up who you are.

What if someone's being awful?

Block them instantly and permanently, no explanation needed. Or report them, which blocks them and flags the conversation for review.

Can I pick who I talk to?

Sort of. Add up to 5 interests, and we'll try to match you with someone who shares one. If nobody's around with a shared interest, you'll get matched with someone at random instead.
